I wasn’t thinking about the Akashic Records when I first made contact. I was driving. It was late morning and traffic was light. I worked in women’s health services at the Houstonian spa doing polarity energy balancing and massage. At 28, I was diving deep into spiritual work and mind-body healing.
I gave a massage and left work, to take care of myself. I had fever, congestion and worst of all, a terrible earache. At home I consulted Heal Your Body, Louise Hay’s early work on the mental causes of physical illness.
I looked up earache. The entry said "there may be something you don’t want to hear."
The woman at the front desk booked a client for me and called me back to work. As I drove down Interstate 10, I repeated aloud, “I, Nancy, want to hear; I, Nancy, want to hear; I, Nancy, want to hear…..” I focused on subtle sensations in my ear, tracking energy moving through my inner ear as I drove peacefully along.
Out of the silence came a booming voice, saying, “You have access to the Akashic Records.”
Hearing those words, my symptoms disappeared: no more fever, congestion or earache.
If you are skeptical about this, I understand. If I had not experienced it myself, I would probably not believe it either.
I had heard of the Akashic Records, but had not given them much thought. I had never tried an affirmation before. I really just wanted to feel better. I tell you this because people assume that my belief was strong, and belief made this happen. Actually, the experience challenged my beliefs and it took me a long time to accept.
When I got back to work, people said to me, “What on earth did you do? You look completely different!”
This was my first Akashic Records Body Prayer. I call it a body prayer because while praying, I was tracking visceral sensations in my body.
I wish I could say that from then on I was able to heal my own illnesses with prayer. But the truth is more complex than that. Instead, I have engaged in a lifelong practice in higher consciousness and mind-body healing.
That extraordinary experience launched me on a search to learn about the Akashic Records, psycho-spiritual healing and vibrational fields. I've studied with spiritual teachers and worked in energy healing for thirty years. I have rebuilt my life around this work, and it gives me great joy to share it.
